Dark Souls 2 gets revamp with Scholar of the First Sin!

The fine folks at From and Bandai Namco have just announced something I want very much: a special edition of Dark Souls 2.

The bad news is; it’s coming April 2015. But hey, DS players are patient by necessity.

Don’t take my word for it, anyway. Also, clicky for biggerer pictureses:

So in other words, this Prepare to Die-esque package will contain all the DLC and updates, along with some graphical enhancements depending on platform.

Myself, I’m very much interested in expanded story and in-game events. The story in DS games is always thin on the ground- which is fine, it’s all in the atmosphere and item description- but I’d like a little more to chew on. No doubt it’ll be bleak and death-related.

It’s a wait, but I think it’ll be worth it.

Here’s the teaser trailer. See you by the bonfire!
