Bethesda and Carlsberg UK produce Fallout Beer!

 

Yes, that’s what I said.

Bethesda and Carlsberg are teaming up to create ‘Fallout BEER’, which is, you know, beer themed on Fallout. The game, not the vile aftermath of nuclear war. Which is what the game’s about.

For those of you who, like me, love Fallout then this is a fun bit of news. Makes for a great Christmas present for a Fallout fan, too! The beverage will be available via Amazon and will begin shipping from the 5th Novemeber, ahead of the launch of Fallout 4.

The immortal and terrible Bruce Ray, Corporate Affairs Director at Carlsberg UK, grunted: “This is something of a world-first. Adult participation in video gaming is a truly social activity, on a par with cinema and music.  We’re proud to work with Bethesda to produce a beer Fallout fans can enjoy”. Then he returned to his ship with the heads of several tourists.

What’s the beer like? I don’t really speak beer, but it’s like this:

So, you know, hops. I’d love to see a Sunset Sarsaparilla come out, rather than generic Fallouty Beer, or even some VaultTec products with minimalist branding, like the old No Frills range in Kwik Save. Yeah, remember that?
