Shield wall… no, the joke doesn’t work.
Thought I’d share this with you, a gorgeous new gaming tablet by Nvidia.
This is more powerful than many of the pcs I’ve owned! This badboy has a screen at 1920×1200 and a complementing gamepad. This would just be stupidly good fun. I’d love to see some benchmarks, but it appears to be able to handle games like Titanfall!

The UK’s largest privately owned electrical retailer, Ebuyer.com, have announced the release of the NIVIDA® SHIELD™ tablet.
The latest gaming tablet from the globally recognised brand NVIDIA is said to deliver the perfect mix of power, portability and performance.
Launched today for pre-order, the SHIELD tablet is powered by the most advanced NVIDIA technologies that promise a spectacular gaming experience. Its NVIDIA Tegra® K1 mobile processor is the first to run Unreal Engine 4 and taps into the same NVIDIA Kepler™ architecture that drives the world’s most extreme gaming PCs, taking gaming to the next generation.
The fast processor provides users with the elite option of choosing where and how to game, with the ability to switch to console mode, with a wireless controller, for HD big screen gaming, and optional 4G LTE cellular connectivity meaning gamers can take and use the SHIELD anywhere.
NVIDIA GameStream™ and NVIDIA ShadowPlay™ allow the streaming and recording of PC games, but the preloaded NVIDIA SHIELD app offers one-touch access to a personal library of over 200 mobile-optimised game titles. The tablet also comes with the latest Android™ OS for instant and easy access to favourite Android games and applications, which can be accessed through the gamepad mapper so users can play thousands of games using the SHIELD wireless controller.
In addition to a high gaming spec, the SHIELD tablet also comes with PureAudio™ technology, dual bass reflex port and front-facing speakers for crisp and clear sound as well as the pre-installed Camera Awesome app and two 5 megapixel cameras.
Equipped with a GPU-accelerated NVIDIA DirectStylus™ 2, users and artists can design games on the SHIELD or takes notes on the games. The NVIDIA Dabbler™ apps also allow more creativity with watercolour, 3D Paint and oil painting affects for a realistic design.
